Personal Note

Hi there, I'm Cindy Millett

Life after 50 is a beautiful yet complex journey, filled with transitions, self-reflection, and the need for deeper self-care. As women, we often carry the weight of past experiences, daily stress, and unspoken emotions—sometimes without realizing how much they affect our well-being.

From a young age, I found joy in creativity. My best friend and I would cut pictures from catalogs, imagining our future lives. When I was a little older, my grandmother taught me to sew, sparking my love for fabric, colors, and textures. As an adult, I painted and sold wooden furniture and crafts, which I found very fulfilling.

Then, I discovered art journaling—a space where I could write freely, pour out my emotions, and cover my words with vibrant layers of paint, mixed media, and images. It became a deeply personal and spiritual practice for me, and a place where I could release emotions and connect with God, without fear of judgment.

But as life got busy, I set aside what I loved, promising myself I’d return to it someday. That someday finally came—and now, I want to share this incredible, healing tool with you.

That’s why I created 30 Days of Art Journaling Prompts for Self-Care, Healing, and Emotional Wellness—to help you release what no longer serves you, rediscover your inner wisdom, and nurture your well-being through journaling and art.

This guide isn’t just about writing—it’s about transforming emotions into art, reducing stress, and embracing creativity as a tool for healing and self-expression. You don’t need to be a writer or an artist—just an open heart, a willingness to explore, and a desire to take care of you.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or craving a new way to reconnect with yourself, this freebie is your first step toward healing, creativity, and inner peace. So if you are ready to unlock the power of art journaling and create space for healing, joy, and self-discovery? Let’s begin!
